Lake Titicaca is located 3856 metres above sea level and is the highest navigable lake in the World. You will see the island of Uros, Amantani and Taquile, these island are home to the Aymaras and Quechuas, who are amongst Peru's oldest peoples, predating the Incas by a thousand years. The tour is led by a local guide who will introduce you to its inhabitants and will explain about their history and traditions. In Titikaka you have the chance to take a nice ride on their little handmade reed boats around the floating villages.
