Day 1:
Today is an early start due to the Condor’s show wildlife. Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at 03:30 am. We will depart from Arequipa in our private transportation. Around 06:00 hrs you will arrive to the village of Chivay, Capital of the Colca valley. Here you will enjoy a delicious breakfast, then you continue your drive to highest part of the Canyon, known as the Cross of Condor, the place where one of the world’s largest flying bird: Andean condor offers a truly breath taking show for all visitors. You will continue your drive to Cabanaconde village for lunch, this is the place where your hiking adventure begins, this first day, you will hike downhill for about 5 hours, passing by an amazing geyser until LLahuar lodge, this place is consider one the favourite lodges as it’s so hidden away, the unique accommodation has its own hot springs pools.
Day 2:
Today you will hike towards the spectacular waterfall of Fure, this trail will take a 4 hours hike, visiting two villages on the way Llatica and Fure. After 3 hours walk you will arrive to Fure, lunch will be provided here, and then you´ll continue your hike for one more hour to the astonishing 100m roaring waterfall. You will return to Fure village for Your second night accommodation.
Day 3:
Today your destination will be the Oasis of the Colca Canyon, the trail will offer astonishing views of Peru’s mountain rage, if you are lucky enough you might see condors flying above you!. The descending hike will take about four hours. Upon arrival to the Oasis “Sangalle”, considered a place to relax, you will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your tour guide while you enjoy its entire green relaxing environment, natural spring pools right at the bottom of the canyon. Here you will have the afternoon at leisure and spend your third night in huts.
Day 4:
In order to avoid hiking under the hard morning sun we will start our day at 5am. You continue your steep trail for approx 3 hrs until the village of Cabanaconde, place where you started this wonderful trek. Breakfast will be provided here, you will then meet your transport and make your trip back to Chivay making some unique stops to take memorable photos of the Colca Canyon with its outstanding pre-Inca terraces along the valley. You will arrive to traditional village of Yanque, here you will have the chance to enjoy the hotspring pools known as "Chacapi" which are located next to the Colca river offering an astonishing view of the Canyon. You will then have time for lunch before travelling to back Arequipa city. Our estimated time of arrival in Arequipa will be 5pm.
