Monastery Of Santa Catalina
Along with the tour guide you will explore the astonishing old town of Arequipa by foot. You will visit the monastery of Santa Catalina, which boasts 400 years of history. This convent was built with the White volcanic rock called “Sillar”, and it contains luxury antique furniture. Nowadays, 30 nuns still remain living in the convent following the traditions.
Main Plaza & Cathedral
You will visit one of the most beautiful main squares in Peru with its well preserve cathedral and the two story archades that grace the other three sides of the plaza.
Compania Church
This was build by the Jesuits (jesuit church of the company of Jesus), the building still remains with its original Stone floor and it’s beautiful columns are decorated with bas-reliefs.
